When was Upload first released?
Upload made its debut on Prime Video on May 1, 2020. Following its renewal in May 2020, Season 2 was released on March 11, 2022. Production for Season 3 of Upload kicked off in August 2022, managed by Hollywood North Buzz, and successfully wrapped up in Vancouver by November 2022.
Remarkably, the production process remained unaffected by the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes. This means the series ios on track to release as originally scheduled.
Upload Season 3 Release Schedule:
Prime Video announced that Season 3 will premiere with the first two episodes on Friday, October 20, 2023. Subsequently, new episodes will be released weekly until November 10, 2023, with a total of eight episodes. Here’s the breakdown:
- Episodes 1-2: October 20, 2023
- Episodes 3-4: October 27, 2023
- Episodes 5-6: November 3, 2023
- Episodes 7-8: November 10, 2023
What will happen in season 3?
By the end of Season 2 of Upload, Nathan and Nora had started a romantic relationship after Nathan’s return to the real world.
However, in Season 3, their newfound love faces challenges because Nathan’s return could fail, risking his permanent deletion.
Meanwhile, we learn that Ingrid invested in a backup Nathan as part of a complex experiment in Lakeview, hoping for a second chance at love in the digital realm.
Apart from the romantic storyline, Season 3 primarily focuses on the Freeyond conspiracy. In Season 2, it was revealed that Freeyond set up clinics in strategic states, offering less privileged people a free opportunity to upload into a new life. The twist is that these clinics are located far from voting booths, potentially allowing corrupt politicians to stay in power. Nathan and Nora will dedicate themselves to thwarting Freeyond’s sinister plan in their Season 3 adventures, all while sharing some tender moments along the way.
