Moving out made easy
Moving out of a property comes with a long list of things to do — and closing down your utility accounts is often one of the most frustrating, time-consuming tasks. You’re expected to contact multiple providers, navigate confusing online portals, wait on hold, and risk overpaying if anything slips through the cracks.
Our Move-out closure service takes this burden off your plate. For a one-off fee, we’ll manage the entire process — ensuring your accounts are closed properly, avoiding unwanted charges, and giving you peace of mind that everything has been handled.
Moving somewhere? We’ll close your essential utilities.

Gas & Electricity accounts
We’ll liaise with your energy suppliers to provide final meter readings, settle the account, and make sure no additional charges are issued after your move-out. If you’re in credit, you’ll receive a refund directly from the supplier.

Water account
We’ll contact your local water provider to submit your final meter reading (if applicable) and ensure your account is closed from your move-out date. This helps avoid future bills and ensures your name is removed from the property.

Council Tax account
We notify the relevant local authority that you’ve vacated the property and request your account to be closed or adjusted accordingly. If you’re due a refund, we’ll make sure the process is in motion.
