Please Connect Me is continuing in its pledge to contribute to the global community by joining the charitable initiative Relocate the Profit.
The philanthropic initiative brings together professionals from across the relocation industry in the pursuit of two goals: to change the culture within our industry and to change people’s lives.
What is Relocate the Profit?
The scheme encourages companies from different areas of the industry – and even direct competitors – to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal, hoping to change industry attitudes and become a driving force for good.
More than 20 companies in 10 different countries in the relocation space have already joined the scheme. As conscientious members of the global mobility community, we’re proud to say that Please Connect Me is among them.
Alongside fostering a positive culture, Relocate the Profit offers its members a chance to contribute to real change. As part of the initiative, we pledge to donate £1 or €1 for each invoice we generate to the initiative’s current charitable partner, the Livingstone Tanzania Trust.
The Livingstone Tanzania Trust
Relocate the Profit is currently partnered with the Livingstone Tanzania Trust. The Trust works to improve access to education, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and livelihood schemes for impoverished communities in Tanzania.
To date, they’ve helped more than 30,000 people through their programmes. Projects have included building new washing and toilet facilities for schools, delivering training in developing sustainable agricultural businesses and supporting the development of local community loan schemes.
We understand how crucial safe access to a good education is to the lives of young people around the world. Together with Relocate the Profit, we hope to help break down the barriers to education in Tanzania and provide impoverished communities with the opportunities they deserve.
